İpek Odabaşı

is a Berlin based musician, experimental DJ, noise artist and a curator. She began her musical journey in Istanbul, performing in various places before expanding her presence across Europe, particularly in Germany and Norway. Her music explores extreme sounds, tight and distorted beats, and challenges traditional listening experiences.

İpek Odabaşı works in various fields of sound, constantly experimenting with electronic music ideas. She performs solo under the name .PK., tours Europe, and actively performs in Berlin with her duo project “POWERSTANZ” with Utku Tavil. Recently, she began incorporating the musical saw into her work, and has performed in free improvisation sessions with Isabel Rößler, Markus Krispel, Alexandra Kopelyan, Giorgio Alloatti, Max Bogner, and Kellen Mills.

İpek Odabaşı has hosted radio shows on Radio Zula, Root Radio, Radiofil, and Colaboradio 88.4FM in Berlin (90.7FM in Potsdam), focusing on electroacoustic, avant-garde, noise, and free improvisation music.

Since 2014, She has been organizing events and international festivals under the A.I.D collective, bringing together artists from around the world. İpek Odabaşı also co-curates the monthly free improvisation sessions at the ‘Neu Berlin Institute of Improvised Music’ with Markus Krispel, Kellen Mills, Isabel Rößler, and Max Bogner. She has been involving with Boksenfestivalen in Oslo as both an artist and a co-curator, contributing to the festival that takes place once or twice a year.
