Sandra E. Blatterer

Sandra E. Blatterer is a Vienna-born, Berlin-based artist whose light installations question traditional views of space and architecture. Combining fine arts and design, she creates environments that encourage deeper engagement with surroundings.Her work, shown in galleries and public spaces, focuses on how light shapes perception and transforms ordinary places into striking experiences. Through storytelling with light, she explores our relationship with the spaces we inhabit. Blatterer’s process includes sketches, performances, and installations. She experiments with different lighting qualities, often collaborating with others, and embraces imperfection to expand the artistic possibilities of light and space.
