Open Call for Dance and Performance Residencies

Whether we can pursue an artistic career without obstacles depends on background and resources, gender and life choices, relationships, family responsibilities, migration, or simply wide-ranging interests. Mid-way through your journey you may suddenly find yourself “too old” for many funding opportunities, even though your situation speaks more to systemic exclusion and barriers than personal achievement or artistic development.

That´s why in 2026 we focus on artists over 40 and are looking forward to applications with non-linear CV´s and unorthodox pathways.

ausland offers 4 residencies for groups of 3 to 5 persons. We are looking forward to your proposals!
