Lars Bech Pilgaard

Since 2010 the guitarist, composer and bandleader Lars Bech Pilgaard has marked himself as an important man on the danish music-scene, contributing with numerous remarkable genre-breaking releases. First up in 2010 with the critically acclaimedMagnus fra Gaarden which toured extensively all over europe playing some of the biggest festivals and most renowned clubs. In 2011 he released Heimat with the group SVIN got nominated for a danish music award in 2012. His guitar-playing is featured on a wide array of records from avantgarde-jazz to indie-rock characterized as a strange hybrid between krautrock, odd film-music, punkish energy and desert-avantgarde. In 2012 LBP also released a solo-guitar album as well as a quartet-album in his own name, receiving great reviews.
