Chicken Shack

An archivist. Compiling music, recording signals
with his tape machine, making connections of sounds to sounds, songs to
people, stories to music. For him it's all about scheming, conspiring,
rewriting history, for his own fun and amusement, though it's not all
laughter and joy.

Phonograph
The weekly radio
show where a lot of his work is happening. Broadcast on the independent
student radio Kol Hakampus www.106fm.co.il, every Friday at 15:00
(GMT+02:00). The program aim is to bring fourth recordings that were
left behind, recover roots, and tell some untold stories. It also
involves some editing techniques to create new stories.

Chicken Shack

The live show that compiles all those interests, into one mix. It's
basically a DJ set, a collage combining old recordings from the early
days of jazz & blues, with newer stuff. But in the end it’s a place
of good time in harsh reality.
