All the Rivers workshop: How we make it work: feminist handwork
with Alessandra Rizzo and Katja Struwe
In this workshop we build, drill, saw and nail - both wood, metal and the patriarchy. Do you want to hang a shelf on the wall? Construct a treasure chest? What does it take to figure out how to do all this and then put it into practice? What technical and social challenges await me, and what is much easier than I ever imagine? We will learn the basics of sawing, drilling, milling, metalworking and surface treatment and then build our own product. The workshop provides a safe and fun environment to plan and build - and a space to talk about how we can be good as Flinta* on construction sites big and small.
