Arab Experimental Film & Moving Image Festival

A platform for formally ambitious, socially and politically sensitive, and critically engaged works from artists and filmmakers with connections to the Arab world and worldwide. It is dedicated to expanding the conversation around the moving image—one that is not limited by genre or geography, but attentive to process, poetics, and the unstable boundaries of the image itself.

The festival is founded by Maamoun Azmy, and Cinemate Productions is responsible for the executive production and curatorial framework.
