Transitions, passages, crossings, connections…
they bring greater cohesion between different spaces and phases,
linking them together.
Picking up threads, spinning them further, transforming them, letting them fall,
rearranging them anew,
crossing apparent boundaries—the art of free improvisation.

Rich experiences gathered over countless concert tours around the world
have shaped the musical work of Simone Weißenfels.
In how many backstages has that tension been felt anew!
Again and again, opening oneself to other ways of playing,
to other places with their own unique aura.

So it was in 2018, when Weißenfels and Kohn first met in Buenos Aires.
Kohn has been living in Berlin for some time now,
as one of the representatives of Argentina’s emerging creative and experimental avant-garde.

Weißenfels and πxl have been playing together for many years
in various constellations.
Thus arose the idea for the trio.
