Gazino Neukölln

Gazino Neukölln is a queer-feminist Berlin band consisting of women, trans*, and non-binary people. "Gazino" refers to quite a unique place and form of entertainment that was the main nightlife format with a queer vibe in Turkey from the 30s to the 80s. With this inspiration, Gazino Neukölln aims to create a new glamourous, kitschy, diverse, and exciting atmosphere. By combining different musical genres from various geographical regions and histories, the hybridity of Gazino culture is maintained. The band covers both Turkish and international pop and arabesque hits with interventions, liberating the lyrics from sexism, homophobia, and transphobia.

After the concert, DJLesh will enchant the evening with guilty pleasure gems you never knew (or admitted) you needed: groovy bouncing beats mixed with Turkish songs, and irresistible dancing grooves. For DJLesh, music is first of all as a means for community-building and sharing. They bring pop, electro pop, rap and hip-hop for folks to shake ass together on the dance floor.
