Hailing from the suburbs of Paris, France, with italian and german roots, LUCIA LIP started in the 2010s in Berlin, Germany, as a self taught artist combining the world of catchy danceable electronic music with her uncompromising and uniquely sensual voice, Lucia’s rebellious attitude diligently composed melodies juxtapose her raw vulnerability with a sense of urgency.

This is the release party of LUCIA LIPs second album 'Gold, habibi'.

LUCIA LIP is back with a heady mix of dark synth pop and sultry off world romanticism. This is an album full of gnarly pumping grooves and broody gothic undulations that will have you yearning for that smokey, neon lit Berlin of yesteryear. This is not a retro album, though as Lucia´s haunting vocals attest to something burning and deeper. In turn giving a wonderful freshness to this, her second long player. Her voice is at times divaesque, with its slightly camp theatrics and at other times moody and soulfully understated whimper. It drags us in with a delirious yet soothing drawl of pure intoxication.
