eine Komposition von und mit:  possible.movement

Seit vier Jahren erforscht das KünstlerInnenkollektiv possible.movement (Johanne Castillo Bro, Claudia Garbe, Daniel Vezza, Ingolf Watzlaw) die Schnittstellen zwischen Tanz, Musik und Zeichnung. Dabei sucht die Gruppe nach den Bewegungen im Klang, den Klängen in der Zeichnung oder der Zeichnung in der Bewegung um daraus gemeinsam Kompositionen zu entwickeln, die in verschiedenen Performances, Installationen und Ausstellungen gezeigt werden.

In der Komposition „out of now“ untersucht possible.movement zeitliche Strukturen verschiedener Bewegungsmuster, Zustände, Klänge und Linien. Die Differenz zwischen synchronen und asynchronen Sequenzen ist für die KünstlerInnen von besonderem Interesse. In einer Performance aus Klang, Bewegung und Grafik wird der einzelne Schlag oder Puls zum Ausgangselement rhythmischer Texturen. Diese verdichten sich zu komplexen Handlungsabfolgen und zerfallen dann wieder in einzelne Schläge, Pulse, Linien oder Flächen ...

a composition from and with:  possible.movement

The artist group possible.movement, founded in 2009, concerns itself with the interface between choreography, drawing and composition and presents the results of their research in different performances and installations. The individual artists in the group come from different art forms – dance, music and visual art. The aim of the group is to find the form of communication as an artistic praxis and the exchange between the individual arts in order to overcome the traditional definition of the separate categories, without, however, to abandon the borders between the art forms completely.

In the composition "out of now“ possible.movement researchs time structures of different movement patterns, sounds, lines and of different states of the body. The diviation between synchronous and nonsynchronous sequences is a matter of particular interest for the artists. Within the sounds, movements and graphics of the performance the single beat/pulse becomes the base of rhythmical textures. These beats and pulses condense into a complexe progression of actions and then dissosiate again into single beats, pulses, lines or planes.
