In ‘’cables cables cables’’ the artists use movement, video projection, experimental audio description and lighting. The performance creates a space to feel into questions around the military, political, and environmental violences mobilized by big tech and AI. The group’s research grapple with the ways that data centers in Berlin are part of the actual material structures that enable the genocide in Gaza, escalate state control of nonwhite immigrants, and contribute to the consolidation of state and military power in the hands of white supremacist empire. Along the way the artists have done personal explorations into themes including command and obedience, numbness and overwhelm, stuckness and moralism.
