The Pomegranate Collective invites you to an evening of songs, seeds, and sub-versions

You can find an audio flyer for this sharing at this link

The Pomegranate Collective is an interdisciplinary artistic collaboration, researching and reflecting on the embodiment of nationalistic ideology through music and dance. In our work, we have shared and collected songs, dances and gestures that shaped our identities, comparing and deconstructing materials from Syrian Assadism, Israeli Zionism and German Socialism and National Socialism. We grew up in societies that were shaped by intensive nation-building practices. Our goal is to comprehend and acknowledge the impact of these practices on our bodies and on our relationships, and to create a space for individual and collective processing of these impacts.

We invite you for an open sharing where we will present some of the fruits of our research in the form of performance, installation, and reflections. We are grateful for your presence and look forward to your feedback.

Saturday, July 25th,  18:00

You are also invited to join us for a patriotic karaoke party - a participatory workshop we are offering as part of the project, on Saturday 18.7.26 at 16:00
