Black Girl in Berlin, a five-episode YouTube series, follows Folâsé, originally from Chicago, on her journey as a newcomer to the DJ scene. Diving into Berlin's vibrant music and art world, embracing the opportunities and challenges of life as an expat in a new city, while also exploring the Diasporic community.
As a multi-hyphenate artist, Folâsé is deeply rooted in telling powerful narratives that span continents. As the founder of Blu Room Productions, She bring an out-of-the-box approach that integrates storytelling with musical elements.
With the intent to share universal messages, Blu Room Productions tells stories of the global black diaspora through thrilling, educational, historical, and inspirational storytelling.
The sister company, Welcome to the Blu Room, is a cultural events startup that curates events for locals, young professionals, and tourists through DJ sets, immersive parties, film showcases, and art exhibitions.
