JD Zazie is an italian sound artist, turntablist and DJ based in Berlin. Coming from a DJ and a radiophonic background JD Zazie  has explored over the years different approaches of real-time manipulation on fixed recorded sound. Intended as music instruments CDjs, turntables and mixer are her tools to mix the specific sound-sources she plays (mostly electronic music, electroacoustic music, musique concrète, field recordings and improvised music). In her work she redefines DJ and electroacoustic activities. As a solo performer, in small groups or large ensembles she moves in an area which is constantly stretching the borders of what is supposed to be DJ mixing, free improvisation and composed music. Collaborations/Improv with Mat Pogo, WJ Meatball, Billy Roisz, Okkyung Lee, Dieb13, Joke Lanz, Ignaz Schick, Dawid Szczesny, SEC_, Anton Mobin, Valerio Tricoli, Felicity Mangan, Mario De Vega, Jealousy Party, PenelopeX, and more. She is director of MuseRuole Festival (IT) and has participated in numerous international exhibitions and events.

The Italian/German musician and artist Alessandra Eramo works with extended vocal techniques, field recording, noise, sound and visual poetry.  For her live-performances, compositions, videos and installations she uses the human voice as a multi-faceted instrument, exporing the phonetics and the physical aspects of singing and speech, this in relationship to writing, gesture and sign in their multiple forms. Using found sounds, she's questioning concepts like 'identity/belonging', 'intimacy/fragility', 'unexpected/unknown', therefore the concept of noise and silence in the individual and collective experience of listening. In the past ten years she exhibited and performed at numerous exhibitions, festivals and events in Europe, USA and Canada. In 2010 she co-founds "Corvo Records - Vinyl and Sound Art Production". In 2013 Alessandra Eramo curates the sound art project "Correnti Seduttive" with Wendelin Büchler, Peter Cusack, Georg Klein and Steffi Weismann in her hometown Taranto (South-Italy), a place with the largest steel plant and the hightest pollution rates in Europe. Collaborations with performers, poets, improvisors and composers include: Gino Robair, Ingrid Schmoliner, Tomomi Adachi, Marta Zapparoli, Seiji Morimoto, Steven J. Fowler, Doug Van Nort.
