in this residency Carina Zox with Holly Barnard will work on: fatal disbelief, a music video performance project. Building a visceral, embodied experience of pop music, fatal disbelief embraces theatrical conventions often seen in pop music videos – hyper-performativity, direct gaze, lip sync, emotional atmosphere – to exorcise feelings of pain, sadness and loneliness and ultimately make room for healing.
