"This is how the jazz tradition will live on as a breathing entity rather than a fossil" - Ken Waxman, Jazzword
This French-Swedish-German quartet peeps back in time, deeply inspired by the energies of be-boppers like C. Parker, B. Powell, H. Nichols and D. Gillespie. And by giving an up-to-date attention to their compositions, Peeping Tom tear jazz down to its bare bones and re-furnish it with the new blossom of free-bop. Peeping Tom's fresh and spontaneous approach in developing their particular music is provoking collaborations with artists from different areas and eras such as Evan Parker, Alan Silva, David Stackenäs, and Sven-Åke Johansson. For their second album they have extended the trio into a quartet including trumpet wizard from Berlin, Axel Dörner.
