Andrea Ermke

Andrea Ermke

lives and works in Berlin. Since the 1990s, she has been part of the core of what is called Echtzeitmusik or Berlin Reductionism. Self-taught, she has developed a very personal and uncompromising style of collage, working with mini-discs, field recording, sampling and hands-on sounds. She is member of several groups like Sink (with Chris Abrahmas, Arthur Rother and Marcello Busato), Tree (with Burkhard Beins and Chris Abrahams) or Hianadara (with Anaïs Tuerlinckx, Andrew Lafkas and Iganz Schick).
